Founded by chef José Andrés in 2010, the NGO World Central Kitchen assists more than 17 countries in emergency situations following the same goal: changing the world with the power of food.
#ChefsForSpain was born as a response to the COVID-19 crisis in Spain, one of the countries most affected by the pandemic. In Barcelona, chef Carles Tejedor led a team of more than 100 volunteers who, together with the Red Cross and the Food Bank, distributed more than 200,000 menus to people in vulnerable situations in the first weeks.
